Why sheep's wool?

Because it is wool most effective in terms of insulation, much more than the yak or goat. With 2 cm of wool packed, our marker has a nice density and allows you to be nice and warm in winter and cool in summer.

Because once washed, the wool is more fragrant therefore more significant odor problem when moisture is present, unlike the yak.

Because sheep's wool has capacity high humidity, unlike synthetic felt and yak: in a yurt moisture is the main drawback when it lodges in the paintings: it causes black streaks and halos. Sheep wool affects the moisture: it has an extremely high absorption capacity, this allows the felt not to be saturated with water. Your paintings are so protected.

Because sheep's wool is packed much stronger and much more resistant to multiple manipulations of assembly and disassembly of the yurt. Our thick wood and hand-cut

All our woods (poles, walls, pillars ...) are hand-hewn ; this technique is the only one capable of maintain the strength wood and the yurt in the end. The wood that forms the structure of our yurts is also chosen for its thickness. Indeed, research and selection of trees that produce the elements are carefully made ​​for a very thick wood, and therefore strong.

We also pay attention to "our attention" to choose the wood. In recent years, a small worm is spreading in the forests of the Altai Mountains, northern Mongolia. These worms penetrate the wood and weakens. So we are increasing our vigilance to avoid pruning diseased or damaged wood

This focus is reinforced by the fact that the French customs controls are more strict on the import of wood. Import a timber of poor quality would be a great risk of being banned from the arrival of the container and therefore a delay or cancellation of orders are you waiting impatiently. Our double French windows

We offer an optional double door glass windows (one first wood casement associated with two doors, each consisting of two windows.) It is a supply of light interesting.

We can not say that we offer you, as some sites claim to sell: you pay no matter what the selling price of the yurt, the price is lower because the work and the choice of wood are less important than what we propose. We go, we, the principle that it is an additional quality craftsmanship, our wood is thick and chose as we mentioned above, so it is paid to the artisan and present in the selling price in a reasonable manner.

Our yurts are available without the floor.

Why? Because there is no need to use wood from Mongolia to build floors that have no particular expertise. If you're a little handy you can build your own floor (It's not that complicated) or use an architect in your area. The price / quality ratio is also much better.
